The Ferris Wheel series is a start 1 series. Begins with all the consonants and short a, and then a book for a and a and i, then a, i and u and then a, i, u, and o. The books are followed up with the Carnival series for all five vowels.
Students who do not know their consonants will begin with The Cab and The Vans before doing the Ferris Wheel series. It is recommended that students with severe problems follow the Cab and The Vans with the Bootcamp series that has two books for each short vowel.
